THE EXPERIENCE: SUNNY HILLS TRACK AND FIELD

There is a reason Eli Anizor Photography consistently ranks as the #1 sports media day photographer in Orange County. Our goal isn't just to take photos; it’s to build a high-energy, professional environment that transforms how athletes see themselves before they ever step onto the field.

In February 2026, we arrived at Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton for a Spring Sports Media Day that was about much more than just a camera and a tripod. This was a full-scale Sports Media Experience designed to ignite the Lancers' competitive spirit.

A LOOK BEHIND THE LENS: THE 4-STATION FLOW

To ensure every athlete felt like a pro, we organized the event into four intentional stations complete with balloons, event lighting/decor, and high-energy music. This structure allowed for a seamless flow, keeping the energy high and the focus on the athletes' upcoming season.

Station 1: The Kickoff (Check-In)

The journey started here. Athletes and parents were greeted, checked in, and briefed on the event's flow. It’s all about setting the tone from the second they walk through the doors.

Station 2: The Spotlight (Professional Photo Set)

This is where the magic happens. We brought in a full cinematic lighting and backdrop setup to create portraits that look like they belong on a stadium scoreboard. From track batons to discus gear, we used props to capture the raw intensity of each sport.

Station 3: The Goal Wall (Team Motivation)

This was the heart of the event. We integrated a dedicated Goal Wall where every athlete could physically write down their personal and team goals for the season. We believe that when you visualize and state your intentions, you play with more purpose.

Station 4: The Fuel Station (Athlete Hydration & Care)

Success requires more than just talent—it requires fuel. We provided custom water bottles for every athlete, complete with energy and hydration packs to keep them going.

As they finished, they grabbed prepackaged treats with personalized notes: "We’re cheering you on this season!"

WHY THE EXPERIENCE MATTERS

We heard directly from the athletes how they enjoyed the experience. One athlete shared, Really great to work with and sports photos look amazing!"

It wasn't just about the shots; it was about the community. Parents and athletes alike participated in the event, making it a true celebration of the Sunny Hills track and field program. Supporting these students as they launch into their seasons is exactly why we do what we do.
